These famous gardens are among the finest in Australia. They form part of the Cascade Brewery and were established shortly after the building was completed in 1824. A beautifully laid out garden, there are many wonderful examples of flowering plants including formal beds of beautiful annuals. The gardens enhance the already beautiful wedding-cake facade of the building and act as a counterpoint to the backdrop of native vegetation on the spectacular Mt Wellington.
