High on a hill, this pretty Richmond church is the oldest Roman Catholic church in Australia. Picture postcard views surround the building, suggesting that the architect had an eye for the future when the site was selected in 1835. Minor alterations over the years have not diminished the original charm. The afternoon sun streams through the stained glass windows. History buffs will enjoy wandering through the cemetery. Mass times: 8.30am first and third Sunday of the month; 11am second, fourth and fifth Sunday of the month.
