There is no need to climb any mountains to reach this restaurant. Just head up the hill to North Hobart. The Tandoor oven can be seen from the front room and the onion sizzle and kitchen sounds add an extra dimension to the hubbub of the eating spaces. Upstairs is a banquet room. Bring your own wine, and enjoy the tastes of south India and Tandoor cuisine. Dishes are served in attractive copper bowls and are spicy and tasty. The banquet offers the opportunity to try several dishes. The Raja banquet comprises three entrees and three mains.
