A relative newcomer on the Hobart dining scene, this eating place has already earned an awesome reputation. As you enter the takeaway counter dominates, but further into the restaurant are dining spaces concluding with a teppanyaki table suitable for groups of four and more. The six-course teppanyaki is essential to book ahead. At the other end of the scale, takeaway food is cheap and exquisitely presented. Should neither of these suit, a superb range of other Japanese dishes are cooked to order. Beers and sakes are available, or you can bring your own wine.
