It could hardly be called anything else. With sweeping views of the Derwent River, this little pub scores high on the quaintness factor of its architecture. Inside is a blazing log fire when the weather demands it, and a fully enclosed glass dining space to maximize the location. The marriage of cosy pub and classy dining space works well. Although the pub is open for long hours, lunch is not served on Saturdays. Dinner is available Monday to Saturday. Sunday brunch is very popular from 10.30am and it is advisable to book to ensure a table.
