WebsiteIt has been around long enough to be considered Hobart's "Italian classic" restaurant and has the trattoria feel equally suitable for a leisurely lunch or dinner, alone, with a partner or with a group of friends. This relaxed and friendly space has a separate smoking section and a function room is available for bigger groups. Claypot cooking is a speciality, but all the usual Italian dishes are here. Zuppa di mare costs about AUD14.50 and pizzas are AUD10. Although licensed, you are welcome to bring your own bottle of wine or have a glass of the house wine for AUD3.
