EmailRight in the middle of Salamanca Square stands Bar Celona, a favourite breakfast and lunch venue with locals and travellers alike. However, after five o’clock Bar Celona is packed with the after work crowd. On Friday nights its standing room only so if you can come a little early to find a great spot in front of the open fire in the winter or outside under an umbrella in the summer, please do. From Eggs Benedict to thick juicy burgers, the food is good and very reasonably priced. There is an extensive wine list and very good beer on tap. Bar Celona is a great place to spend some relaxing time and only a five-minute walk from the centre of town. -Janice Barton
