WebsiteBuilt in 1815, the Bush Inn is Australia’s oldest continuously licensed pub. Much of the original furniture, the wine racks, solid blackwood floors and sandstone cellar have been preserved. More recently a large new deck has been a welcome addition to this historic pub with sweeping views over the river. On a warm day this is a delightful spot to have your lunch or dinner which will consist of typical good pub fare like steak, schnitzels and a bit of pasta for good measure. Accompany your choices by a very reasonably priced libation. In the winter enjoy the log fires in all bar and dining areas. A short half hour drive will bring you to this friendly, popular establishment. – Janice Barton
