It is a typical pub - smoky, noisy and atmospheric, so it is not the place for an intimate conversation. Standing near the bar will soon have you soaking up the ambience. Guinness is on tap but you can also find many other beer varieties. Meals include pasta or a decent steak. The house speciality is beef and Guinness pie.
