Just across from the Hobart Waterfront, this corner café, with its bright blue tiles, is a landmark. Hobart has many wonderful Art Deco buildings, and this one is now transformed into a space for today. The picture windows ensure that the view is maximised, and make the room light and bright. Live music brings the crowds from Wednesday to Sunday nights, or just pop in for an after work drink. From the extensive menu, you must try the warm chicken salad and the hearty bouillabaisse incorporating local seafood. The blackboard specials are worth trying. Wine is available by the glass.
