Originating in New Zealand, Canterbury clothing achieved something akin to cult status in Australia during the late 1980s and early 1990s. You literally could not walk down the street without passing people wearing the famous Canterbury rugby top. Though that excitement has subsided somewhat, this is still enormously popular clothing and for good reason. It is hard wearing and fashionable and offers an excellent size range catering from small children right up to very large men. The Hobart store features sporting and casual clothing as well as shirts, trousers and footwear. Staff are helpful and there is a play area for children.
