They run some cheap beer promotions at the Green Parrot and the Chinese-style fast food is reasonable. A mainly local crowd patronise this establishment, and they come for the food and the space rather than the drinks. It is a bit like drinking in a MacDonalds, but with a slightly drunker crowd. The décor is bright and would make those not sober as green as the parrots that adorn the walls.
