You get great wines, delicious homemade cakes and, usually, a seat, unless it is a weekend night. The bar opens early so you can be thoroughly southern Mediterranean and have a glass or two before noon. Food, such as pizzas, burgers, sandwiches and salads, is available. The lunchtime set menu, consisting of three courses, is definitely worth a try.
