Website | EmailThe Lim Por Yen studio in the Hong Kong Arts Center holds about 200 people and screens an interesting selection of locally-produced independent films, shots and video, as well as monthly festivals featuring alternative movies from Europe, Asia, North Africa, the Middle East and the Americas. The auditorium itself is a bit cramped, long-legged persons be prepared to fidget, and there is no fixed seating, so it is a bit of a free-for-all before show time. There is no popcorn or soda either! Schedules are only advertised in the local newspapers on Sundays.
