WebsiteLeokino opened in summer 1999 and is Innsbruck's biggest arts cinema. Its modern technical equipment and its attractive furnishing make it popular with a wide-ranging audience. Most movies are shown in the original language, and the regular program consists of classic European films. Such a program, along with THX and Dolby Digital sound and the friendly foyer bar, make the Leokino a remarkable arts cinema. In the summer the Innsbruck International Film Festival takes place here, bringing a vivid multicultural flavour to the city.
