The reason for this boils down to the names of the buildings in the area that include the "Red Eagle," "Golden Lion" and "Golden Deer." The Weißes Rössl is a venerable, rustic establishment with spacious rooms furnished in a country-house style. The hotel also houses two restaurants, both of which are renowned for their excellent Tyrolean cuisine.
