Website | EmailPlateau's interior is characteristic of the many viaduct places: a long, simple bar, a few seats, minimal tables, and the usual vaulty ambience: it's not the furnishings that make the atmosphere, it's the people. The regular crowd consists of students mainly. Especially on weekends, the place is invariably jammed to the rafters. Around midnight, Plateau usually runs out of space to a point where it's impossible to find room to stand- at which point people clim on chairs and tables and keep dancing. It doesn't matter, since nobody who comes here does so to sit. For a quiet chat, better go outside or over to Spektrum, the immediate neighbour.
