WebsiteThe Innsbruck Hafen (harbour) got its name from a sawmill that used to raft wood on the Inn river long ago. Later, in the early nineties, the Hafen (back then at least) saw a legendary period as the center of Innsbruck's independent scene thanks to some squatters. Today, this is a very professionally (and commercially) managed place where regular and irregular events take place. Several halls, able to be arranged in many configurations in different sizes, and a huge area in front of the building make it possible to organise almost any kind of event - Goa parties, techno raves, the always crowded 1970s parties once a month, country festivals, skate contests, satire evenings... whatever. As a result, the crowd can vary extremely from one day to the next. Mostly however, they're aged 15 to 30.
