The Marina Balık Restaurant is actually a fairly classy establishment, despite having the initial appearance of a rather rustic run-down country shack. Located in Kuruçeşme Park, the restaurant surprises much of its clientele with its starched white tablecloths and fabulously efficient staff dressed in traditional black and white. The highly-recommended house special is fish cooked in rock salt served with gently sautéed mushrooms, tomatoes and herbs. This place is very popular with locals at weekends.
