Website | EmailThis hip neighborhood festival celebrates African-American culture and honors the legacy of the Farish Street Historical District. Live entertainment takes place on three stages. Children's attractions such as the Kiddy Cottage are set up throughout the neighborhood. Good music, great soul food and barbecue, and a feeling of civic pride are the earmarks of this mammoth block party. Last year's theme, "Black 2 Soul," featured an impressive roster of rhythm and blues performers including Ohio Players and Peabo Bryson.
