WebsiteOne of the landmark structures in the history of Jackson, the Kirk Fordice Equine Center is the chief livestock exposition facility used during the 12-day Mississippi State Fair. Located within the large Mississippi State Fairgrounds, it is used for cattle shows, horse shows and various competitions. All the facilities within the Center are maintained regularly to ensure the comfort of the animals. It has a large capacity of 2500 seats. It also serves as the venue for the annual Dixie National Rodeo and Livestock Show.
