This is Jakarta's most comprehensive sports complex. Whether it be archery or volleyball, baseball or basketball, squash or tennis, the track or the field that gets their pulse racing, all sport enthusiasts can indulge in their passion within the same premises. Golfers can even putt away at the par-70 course in Senayan Golf Club. The development of this gigantic complex began in the late 1950s, in line with President Soekarno's vision of constructing an Olympics-standard sporting facilities. The stadium alone can accommodate 100,000 people.
