On the 5.5km hike, hikers reach Jerusalem's highest elevation of 840m and enjoy scenic mountaintops overlooking the city's hills. Along the trail you will find many Byzantine ruins including walls, an olive press and the tomb of Sheik Ahmed. Bring a bathing suit and cool off in the surrounding springs that used to supply water to the villages and storage pools. At the end of the hike, relax at the Salmon Picnic Area.
