Website | EmailDid you ever wonder how city planners choose to preserve important ancient sites while meeting the modern needs of a large city? Here’s one place to find out. Located in the basement of Jerusalem’s new City Hall, a 1:500 detailed model of Jerusalem is on display. Created by the Jerusalem city engineer and a team of architecture students from the Technion in Haifa, the model provides a way to study and test various development options. Call to make an appointment to see the model, and while you’re at City Hall, be sure to go to the top floor for a panoramic view of the city from the enclosed balcony.
