This is a truly Jewish dining experience with dishes from Poland, Russia, and Hungary. Specialities include chicken soup with Kneidlach (dumplings), the famous cholent (a casserole dish of meat, beans and vegetables), gefilte fish, and "Patcha" (calve's foot jelly). Main courses include St Peter's fish, salmon in caviar, lamb, organ meat, and stuffed cabbage. This kind of food has a special flavour and is best enjoyed in winter. There is another location at 98 Derech Hebron, Tzomet HaBankim in Talpiot.
