This Protestant church and hospice is a clean and friendly place to stay. The outdoor courtyard is a relaxing Old City hideaway and inside there is a lounge, coffee and book shop and fax and e-mail service. Interestingly, the church was established in 1849 by the Society for Promoting Christianity Amongst Jews. Inside the chapel are stained glass windows with Stars of David and Hebrew writings. In addition to the simple yet comfortable rooms (and even more interestingly) Shabbat dinner is available by request and Passover seders by group reservations.
