Situated in Jerusalem’s shopping mall, Gil is an American-style multiplex with a mountain of popcorn on sale as you walk in, along with cola, and a wide range of chocolate bars and other goodies. Its eight screens show mainly blockbusters and general release films. First screenings are typically at 11am and last screenings at around 9:30pm. Admission for evening films is USD5 and for day-time shows USD5.50. Note that credit cards can only be used for advance purchases of tickets (tel: 1 700 50 50 50). The ticket office at the cinema only accepts cash.
