Website | EmailThis interesting venue is located in the colourful Fordsburg, which was, historically, Johannesburg's Indian neighbourhood. It is here that the city's famous Oriental Plaza is located. Because the Fordsburg Artists' Studios are housed in what was once an old factory, the venue is often referred to as its prior incarnation, ‘The Speedy Bag Factory’. The Bag Factory is a collection of artist’s studios, as well as an exhibition space, which periodically houses works by visiting artists.
