At eighteen, this the oldest coffee-shop in Hyde Park. Maybe that's why the décor is art-deco, and you expect Hercules Poirot to be lurking behind a palm. The clientele are up-market, and wouldn't dream of asking for a (forbidden) take-away. The classy music goes from Latin to Classical.
