Pulau Hujong lies 14 kilometres off the coast of Mersing, sandwiched between bigger islands. Most travellers make a short stopover here whilst on their merry way to Pulau Aur or Pulau Besar. Untainted by anything remotely resembling the outside world, it offers the exhausted island-hopper a chance to catch their breath, snatch forty winks on a hammock and basically live the beachcomber's life. No accommodation exists here.
