This annual festival is officially launched by the "Yang dipertuan Agong" (the King of Malaysia). Water enthusiasts can expect plenty to do and see in this nationwide event, which features lots of fun and exciting water activities such as kayak and jet ski races and much more. This festival aims at promoting awareness amongst locals and tourists about the natural wonders of the country and to re-create the water sports of the past.
