The Red Giants, as the Selangor Football Club is fondly called, are one of the most successful teams in the history of Malaysian football. Established in 1936 the team has a proud record in the Malaysia Cup championships but has had mixed success in the league competition. Cheered on by some of the most enthusiastic and rapturous fans in the country, the club has made a new home at the impressive Shah Alam Sports Complex, the second biggest stadium in Malaysia.
