Located approximately two kilometers from town below Bukit Melawati, this park consists of more than 250 hectares of coastal land and has well-marked trails for jungle trekking. Bird watching is a popular activity, with over 150 species identified. Both local and migratory birds frequent the mangrove swamps along the coast. The rare spoon-billed Sandpiper and Nordmann's Greenshank can also be seen in this nature park. Two watchtowers and hide-outs have been constructed to aid bird-watching. Visitors may be fortunate enough to spot leaf monkeys, otters, nocturnal leopards and other animals.
