This restaurant offers good quality food at low prices. Set meals are available for lunch. Within Saffron are a cocktail lounge and a separate bar. The cheerful and friendly owner and his staff is always there to give a warm welcome, making you feel very much at home. Saffron's menu covers a range of Indian, especially Punjabi food. Amongst its specialties are the butter chicken, Maharaja baingen, Bhoona and Bhatura (a kind of bread) and the tandoori chicken. Sample the refreshing lassi (yogurt drink) for a change.
