This is the place to find simple traditional cuisine and it is also a worthy substitute for mum's home cooking. Housed in a post-independence bungalow, it almost feels like going to a favorite aunt's house for lunch. The atmosphere is relaxed and unhurried. The sizzling beef with Satay sauce is really good with lemongrass and roasted peanuts. Another good dish is the Chili Chicken with buah keras ("candlenut") in a rich and mildly spiced stew. Fresh juices are a must.
