For a little taste of traditional flavour, pop down to the place that specialises in authentic Johor fare. This restaurant is simple yet neat, and even though the cheerful-looking tablecloths brighten up the place, it is the quality of food that does the talking. The food is prepared by a Johor chef to ensure authenticity. Favourites among the loyal regulars are Ayam Goreng (fried chicken), Siput Sedut (a snail dish that gives your mouth some exercise) and Botok Botok (fish wrapped in leaves). For drinks, try Cendol, a local favourite.
