In spite of being almost entirely destroyed by the Iraqi invasion, the theatre has managed to re-establish itself well. Today, it is once more the popular venue for dramatic plays and performances. But the main feature still remains the annual Pantomime, which with its traditional beauty and vibrancy is worth being a part of!
