If you're good at bargaining, head to the market set up on Fridays in the Al Rai area, just off Fourth Ring Road. The vendors here will adjust their rates depending on how well or badly the negotiations go. There are no rules except this - always be ready to stick to your guns and confirm the prices with other shops. The vendors sell second-hand furniture, videos, electronics, rugs, garments, antiques and livestock.
