It offers a wide choice of courses in the arts and sciences at its green and attractive campus on the Shannon. The campus itself offers meeting facilities catering for up to 1,000 people. It has a purpose built concert hall which hosts a variety of events throughout the year. There is a superb sports and leisure complex which includes an indoor swimming pool. The University is in close proximity to local golf courses, a rugby pitch and other sporting venues. There is a variety of bar and restaurant facilities. The University also features displays of fine artwork.
