Inhabiting part of the old 18th century Hunt Museum in the Custom House, this is a fine Georgian building. High domed ceilings, contemporary artwork and well-chosen furnishings make for a comfortable airy atmosphere. The food is consistently good; have a snack with coffee or a set meal from the comprehensive menu. Whatever dish you choose the excellent views of the Shannon River as it flows past will make it even more enjoyable.
