Website | EmailPortuguese magnate Joe Berardo established this museum after being persuaded by the government. Although other major cities were interested in providing a space for his esteemed collection, the museum eventually landed up in Lisbon. The museum features the best in contemporary and modern art and you can find works of legends like Picasso and Bacon hang on the walls. Overlooking the River Tagus, one couldn't have found a more scenic setting to host the brilliance inscribed on canvas. The museum hosts various events throughout the year attracting enthusiasts from world over.
