Judiaria's alley, in the historical center of the village, recalls the times when there were Jewish quarters all over the Portuguese realm. Followers of Moses gathered in these places, where they’re an autonomous management and civil service positions such as accountants and Rabbis. The third building, beyond the gates of the "Judiaria" was the location of the synagogue, which was also the center of this small community.
