The museum is located in a beautiful palace built in the end of the XIX century. The palace has been given to the city of Cascais in 1924 and transformed into a museum. You can see works of art from national and foreign artists: paintings, porcelain, material and indo-portuguese furniture. Besides, the museum has a library wealth of old volumes like, for example, the manuscript of the Crónica de D.Alfonso Henriques dating from 1505 representing Lisbon during the XVI century.(210 $ for adults)
