WebsiteEntering the old town of Sintra, the Palácio Valenças is one of the first large buildings you will come across. Designed by the architect Guiseppe Cinati, the palace shows Italian influence and some gothic detailing, having been built at the end of the 18th century during the Romantic period. Today the building houses a library that is an ideal place to study.
