The "Pisões" estate dates back to the XVI century, initially the residence of "José Leite Aguiar" and "D. Sebastiana Meneses". Later, it's acquired by the "Aveiro's" Dukes, and becomes the place where the plot to kill "D. José" is thought.
The propriety is later confiscated by the Portuguese Crown. This estate is characterized by a Renaissance and "Manuelina" architectures.
