This fountain was built in the I Century, as an homage to the Roman Emperor Augustus. It's located about 3m below the surface, so the entrance must be made through a narrow flight of stairs. The fountain is composed by several monoliths and its waters are channeled from the nearest spring, as to guarantee the fountain's supply.
