This is the longest beach on Sintra's coast, and also the best for bathing. Although intense waves are typical of the area, the ones on this beach aren't quite as strong, yet they still lure those who love the water, as many Surf and Bodyboard World Championship events have taken place here. This beach is one of the most sought-after in Sintra.
