With a beautiful outlook over a historical part of the city known as Alfama, this view is framed by the Tagus river. The architectural chessboard of low buildings, intertwining those both antique and restored, convey an ambiance and personality all its own. The river, one moment dazzling, the next minute a rich shade of orange under the setting sun, makes this spot warm and becoming. The terrace located at this viewpoint conveniently houses a kiosk that serves coffee, alcohol, sandwiches, ice cream, and pastries, and is an obligatory stop on your way back to old Lisbon.
