This is a convent church in a barroque style. The first stone was laid down in 1711, but the construction was only finished in 1737. It's one of the first examples of religious construction from the early days of the 18th century. This church was used by the old religious order of the Franciscanos de Xabregas. Check out the painting by João Nunes de Abreu e Jerónimo Silva on the roof.
