This is the main cathedral in Lisbon and should not be missed even if your stay in the area is brief. Its construction was a long process, and spanned from the 12th century until its completion in the 20th century. Its architectural influences include Roman, Gothic, Neo-Roman, and Neo-Gothic styles - all of which blend together in a harmony that creates a breathtaking building. The cathedral houses several internal chapels and is one of the city's great religious prides.
